1. General provisions
These terms and conditions govern Orbis membership, access to services under the membership, the rules for requesting and cancelling a service, and the legal relationship between the user and Orbis. Orbis is an organiser and intermediary platform for roadside assistance services: at the user's request it arranges the relevant service and connects the user with the relevant partner company. Orbis does not itself carry out technical work on vehicles. Under the membership, its main role is to organise the service and pay for the service as provided in these terms. By activating the membership, the user confirms that they have read and agree to these terms and conditions in full.
2. Membership plans and payment
Orbis offers two plans:
- Monthly plan: 9.90 GEL a month, renewed automatically;
- Annual plan: 99 GEL a year, renewed automatically.
The membership activates after the user registers and pays on the Orbis platform. For safety, the main services become available 48 hours after registration. Towing becomes available from the second month of membership (30 days after registration).
Payments are charged automatically to the payment method given at registration. The user can cancel the membership at any time from their account or through another communication channel set by Orbis. If cancelled, the next period's fee is not charged.
3. Service limits
During an active membership, a member can make up to 4 calls a year in total (each service once). Once the limit is used, the user can make additional calls at the member discount (-40%). Towing is available from the second month of membership.
4. Service package
An active membership gives the user access to the following services:
- Towing (available from the second month);
- Jump start;
- Tyre change;
- Car door opening;
- Fuel delivery.
All services are part of the membership plan and a call costs nothing extra. Service availability, the coverage area and other conditions are set out in advance on the platform. Orbis reserves the right to update the list of services and their conditions in line with the applicable rules and legislation.
6. Ways to request a service
A service can be requested:
- from the user's account;
- through the Orbis hotline.
When a service is requested by phone, the operator tells the user about service availability, the area, the waiting time and the partner company. By confirming the request, the user agrees to the conditions of the service.
7. Waiting time
The time it takes to arrive depends on partner availability and the specific circumstances. The estimated waiting time is given to the user before the request is confirmed. It may change because of road conditions, traffic, bad weather, high demand or other objective circumstances. Orbis does not give an absolute guarantee of service within a specific number of minutes, unless this is stated directly in the service terms.
8. Cancelling a service
The user has the right to cancel a service request. Cancelling within 10 minutes of confirmation is completely free.
If the request is cancelled more than 10 minutes after confirmation, a cancellation fee may apply. This rule applies whether or not the partner company has already started preparing to carry out the service.
9. Coverage area
Orbis services are available only in the cities and areas listed on the platform. Within a city, the service operates in predefined zones. Intercity towing is possible only along routes set by Orbis. Orbis may change, extend or limit the coverage area from time to time.
10. Towing
This service is for cases when the car can no longer move on its own because of a technical fault or another reason. If towing requires extra distance, special equipment or work beyond the standard package, the extra cost is agreed with the user in advance.
11. Jump start
The service means technical help from a specialist to start the car (for example, when the battery is flat). The cost of a new battery, charger or other spare part is not included in the membership package.
12. Tyre change
The service includes calling a partner specialist and replacing the damaged tyre with the spare (provided the user has a working spare tyre on site). The membership does not cover buying a new tyre or wheel.
13. Car door opening
The service is used when the user cannot open the car door (including when the key is locked inside). The specialist works with the greatest care to avoid damaging the car. If opening the door requires damaging a specific part or extra work, the cost is agreed with the user in advance.
14. Fuel delivery
The service means bringing fuel to the car. Orbis pays for the delivery itself (within the points), while paying for the fuel is the user's obligation and is not included in the 9.90 GEL subscription.
15. Partner service companies
The requested service is carried out by an Orbis partner company. Orbis connects the user with the provider and pays for the service. Responsibility for the technical quality of the work and for details arising during it lies with the provider, within the applicable law.
16. Alternative service providers
If Orbis partner companies have no capacity at the time of the request, Orbis may find an alternative (including private) provider. In that case too, Orbis fully covers the agreed service fee under the membership terms and informs the user about the alternative provider in advance.
17. Inability to provide the service
If the service could not be provided despite the reasonable efforts of Orbis or the provider, the request is not counted as used and is not deducted from the annual limit.
18. Service delays
The delivery time depends on the partner's capacity and road conditions. A delay caused by objective reasons is not in itself a breach of Orbis's obligations. Orbis monitors the status of the service as far as possible.
19. Limits of Orbis's liability
Orbis acts as an intermediary. Matters of technical performance are settled between the user and the provider. Orbis is not liable for circumstances beyond its control (traffic, bad weather, a technical error by the provider), except where the law directly provides otherwise.
20. Feedback and ratings
The user may rate the service received through the platform. This feedback is used to improve service quality. If dissatisfied, the user can contact Orbis, which will respond accordingly.
21. Exclusions
The membership does not cover:
- the cost of spare parts;
- the price of a new tyre or wheel;
- the cost of fuel;
- costs beyond the annual limit (available at the member discount of -40%);
- the price of special equipment or extra work (not part of the standard package);
- the cost of services provided outside the predefined coverage area.
22. Cancelling the membership and refunds
The user can cancel the membership at any time. The fee for the current period can be refunded only if the user has not used any service during that period. If the user used even one service in the current subscription period, the amount paid is not refunded. Amounts paid for past periods are also not refundable. Refunds are made by the same bank method used for payment.
23. Failed payments
If the subscription fee cannot be charged to the card on file, Orbis sends the user a notification. The user has 14 days to settle the debt. If payment is not made within this period, Orbis may cancel the membership automatically.
24. Information
Detailed information about areas, routes and partners is always available on the Orbis website and in the user's account.
25. Right to change the terms
Orbis reserves the full and unconditional right to change, update, add to or withdraw these terms and conditions at any time, at its own discretion, with or without prior notice to the user. In the case of material changes, the user is informed in accordance with the applicable law. The updated version of the terms is published on the Orbis platform with the relevant date. Continuing to use the service after the terms are updated means agreeing to the new rules.
26. Final provision
By buying a membership, the user confirms that these terms were fully clear and accessible to them. They agree to receive the services within the limits, coverage area and other rules set out in this document.
Effective date and updates
These terms and conditions are in force from the moment they are published on the Orbis platform.
